This year’s Pocketguide to Mullumbimby and the Northern Region will feature Retreats and Day Spas, with an editorial guide to the wonderful variety of healing and holiday options in this area. At least 60,000 copies will be circulated from Brisbane to Melbourne, and listing your business is free.

One of the questions most often asked by visitors in Byron Bay is “how do I get to Nimbin from here?” and although the route is well marked on our maps, we would like to lead visitors on a more thorough, relaxing and inspirational tour of our hinterland.

Pocketguides have a reputation for guiding visitors on discovery tours, with our clear and comprehensive maps and business listings, and local knowledge. Previous editions have featured a tour of Tweed Valley Way (The Road Less Travelled) and the loop through Murwillumbah, Uki, Nimbin and the coastal strip.

Retreats and Day Spas have personality, and fill different needs. Some offer life-changing experiences while others are a refuge to be returned to. We want to offer our readers a thorough enough introduction to our advertisers that they call you and say “I was reading about you in the Pocketguide, and wondering if…”

We would like to visit you all, to sample what you have to offer and include personal experience in our editorial. With the way Pocketguides has expanded, we could probably use a break. We get some great feedback and this will be our best Pocketguide yet. Now we have hire car companies wanting several thousand copies to provide their customers so they don’t get lost. We’re flat out so please forgive us for not contacting you all personally.
