Invest in your health. From 7 am on Thursday mornings the Byron Farmers Market is an unmissable - social outing with fabulous fresh food, so incredibly fresh in fact it stays crisp and delicious for a week and probably longer, although it always gets eaten so it is hard to tell.

Just picked fruit and veg, fresh coffee, mushrooms, pecan nuts, brown rice, cheeses, organic meat, free range organic eggs, bread, Delicious quiches and soups. Preserves, jams & flowers. Try award winning fresh lime cordial with out preservatives. There is an atmosphere that conjures up the imagination taking you right back to the 19th century fuelled by aromas of fresh cooked food & coffee and the sounds of mysterious buskers with music & mime.

It is the only market in Australia where the produce from the commercial fruit and veg markets are banned. You must be a local grower, most of which are organic! It is an amazing experience and very competitively priced against the chemically grown produce on -offer at the supermarkets.

Its a life experience, get there early!!
