The Secret of PAN

If you are making art, or looking for something special to take home, there are people you should know. Many gifted artists hide in the hills, or lead double lives as executives. Their art is wonderful, but rarely seen. They get together, as the Practicing Artists Network, for shows, often at Waywood Gallery, and to socialize. Look out for them.

Meet these artists and view their work, through their website, panbyronbay.com. Look through their Gallery, and if there is something that touches you, ask where it’s hanging, or standing. If there is a style you like, and you have décor to match, perhaps the artist has a similar work perfect for you. Finding the right art for your life and your space is a worthy challenge, and so very satisfying.

PAN (Practising Artists Network) is a non-profit incorporated association that is committed to furthering and promoting the visual arts in Byron Shire and provides a forum for support and networking between artists, social events and group exhibitions.

PAN holds an annual art exhibition for members, provides access to insurance for members own art exhibitions and also, through the issue of regular newsletters and a dedicated webpage, provides up to date information on the local arts scene and PAN social arts events.
